SCENOGRAPHER

Kendall Bas designs spaces, sets, and costumes for theatre, ballet, opera, concerts, film plus experimental projects. He has worked in this field for more than thirteen years. He now lives in London. Before moving, he served as Resident Designer at La Perle, the Franco Dragone show in Dubai. During that period, he guided the artistic redesign of the production and coordinated teams of artists, creatives, and technicians for performances that required large stages and complex machinery.
He is now pursuing an MFA in Scenography at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. He is an International Associate of the Society of British Theatre Designers and a member of OISTAT, the International Organisation of Scenographers, Theatre Architects, and Technicians.
He earned a degree in Production Design from the School of Design, part of the Arts, at De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde. Every project he undertakes begins with a clear visual narrative and is guided by his design decisions. In 2019, he presented work from the Philippines at the World Costume Design Exhibition in Moscow. He also received training at the Production Design Centre of the Philippines or at Ballet Philippines.
