SCENOGRAPHER

Kendall Bas Sison is a London-based scenographer, costume, set designer, and craftsman whose practice spans theatre, ballet, opera, concerts, film, and experimental performance. Working at the intersection of physical and digital design, he explores emerging scenographic possibilities through the integration of digital media, immersive environments, and technologically driven stagecraft.
His work is recognised internationally for its synthesis of visual storytelling, material craft, and innovation.
With over thirteen years of professional experience, he previously served as Resident Designer at La Perle in Dubai, the Franco Dragone production, where he led the artistic redesign of the show and coordinated multidisciplinary teams of artists, creatives, and technicians. His work operated on large-scale productions requiring complex machinery, precision engineering, and high-performance scenographic systems.
He is currently pursuing an MFA in Scenography at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. He is an International Associate of the Society of British Theatre Designers and a member of OISTAT (International Organisation of Scenographers, Theatre Architects, and Technicians).
He holds a degree in Production Design from De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde. His practice is rooted in a strong visual narrative approach, where costume, props, and spatial design are developed as an integrated system. In 2019, he represented the Philippines at the World Costume Design Exhibition in Moscow. He also trained at the Production Design Center of the Philippines and with Ballet Philippines.
